The cabin is log house with a loft and a porch built in 2011. It can accommodate 9 persons (minimal 5) on 25 m 2. There is a big table and benches on the porch.
In the cabin there is a steel range for cooking and heating, a table, benches, 2 sleeping bunks downstairs and 7 in the loft. Of the kitchen utensils there are 2 pots, 2 kettles, 2 pails, a cup, a wash basin, a broom, a dust pan, 9 bed sets consisting of a mattress, a pillow and a blanket. Fresh linen is given in the visitor centre or by a ranger at checking-in. Near the cabin there is a shed with fire wood, an axe, a rake and firefighting equipment on a board.
There is a campfire site with a table and benches, a trash container, a firewood shed, a toilet, a rump down to the lake, a boat.
The sauna is located 30 m from the cabin on the bank of Jungojarvi lake. Wooden staircase leads to the water. There is a shed with a stock of firewood and an axe close by. In the sauna there are 3 basins, 2 pails, 2 water tanks, 3 scoops, a dust pan and a broom.
The sauna is used by the tourists living in the log cabins ‘The Pearl’ and ‘The Mermaid’. Chopping of wood and heating the sauna is done by the tourists as they agree between themselves. Use of the sauna and the boat is included in the cost of accommodation.
The boat is used by the occupants of the cabin. Life jackets will be provided at the entrance to the Park. Wearing of them in the boat is obligatory. Don’t forget to return the jackets when you leave the Park.
