The tourist cabin is a log house built in 1996, last time reconstructed in 2004 and 2010. It can accommodate 3 people on 24 square meters.
In the cabin there is a steel range for cooking and heating, a table, a bench, a shelf for plates, sleeping bunks. Of the kitchen utensils there is a pot, a kettle, a pail, a mug, a wash basin, a broom, a dust pan, 3 bed sets consisting of a mattress, a pillow and a blanket. Fresh linen is given in the visitor centre or by a ranger at checking-in.
Near the cabin there is a wash basin, a shed with fire wood and an axe, a rake and firefighting equipment on a board, a toilet, 2 trash bins, a rump to the lake and a boat.
The sauna is located 30 m from the cabin on the shore of lake Jungojarvi. A rump leads down to the lake. There is a shed with a stock of firewood and an axe close by. In the sauna there are 3 basins, 2 pails, 2 water tanks, 3 scoops, a dust pan and a broom. The occupants of the cabins ‘The Mermaid’ and ‘The Pearl’ can use the sauna. The order of use of the sauna is agreed by the tourists themselves. Use of the sauna is included in the cost of accommodation.
The rowing boat is used by the occupants of the cabin. Life jackets provided at the entrance to the Park should be always worn in the boat. Do not forget to return them on your leave.
